Here's a memory from my years at NBC Sports.

For those of us from NBC Sports on the flight to cover the 1984 World Series, we’ll never forget what happened. For the young ones, Wrigley Field did not have lights until 8-8-1988, so if they won the NLCS, MLB had to realign the schedule so no night games were played in Chicago. The big tree's arrival in Rockefeller Center makes me cringe.  For the 36th consecutive year, I will be battling the throngs that come to see that symbol of the Holiday season in New York City and make me slow down to a crawl to get around them.  But I'm hoping those throngs of people will help the 21st Annual Today Toy Drive spread joy to millions of children in the United States.
